App planning workshops, designing and prototyping with AI, leading software projects from start to maintenance. Can't show the apps here, but happy to talk about them in a meeting.

The problem

Most of my Simplified work can't go in the portfolio. Same pattern most weeks though: a founder walks me through the app idea, I shape the screens, work with the developers, and stay on while it gets built.

What matters most

  • Workshops while we're still figuring out v1
  • UI/UX and prototypes, vibe-coded when that's the fastest honest path
  • Project lead with the developers through build and maintenance

Maker's Schedule

My own product. Paul Graham's maker vs manager schedule essay, but as an app. Block time for making, and keep clients, projects, money and taxes in one place.

The problem

I was running a one-person business from five apps and my own head. A good week would disappear into messages, follow-ups, and tabs I forgot to check.

What matters most

  • Making Studio: what are you making this week, then block time for it
  • Pipeline, clients, contracts, and money in one place
  • Less admin glue work, more room for actual client delivery

Atleteo

Another one of mine. A workout tracker for everyday athletes. Runs, gym, and a 90-day challenge in one app without the pro-athlete bloat.

The problem

Most fitness apps are built for serious athletes. I wanted somewhere to log a run or a gym session and see if I'm actually showing up.

What matters most

  • Endurance logging for run, bike, swim, and walk
  • Strength programs and gym sessions in the same app
  • 90-day challenge, milestones, and stats that show the week

My Garden Canvas

My twin brother needed this, so I built it. Lovable app, visual garden canvas with beds, notes, instructions and other elements to draw your full yard.

The problem

My twin brother kept losing track of what was in which bed. By next spring you forget what grew where, what failed, and what you meant to try again.

What matters most

  • Draw beds, paths, and notes on one canvas
  • Beds, notes, and instructions on the same view
  • Last spring's plan still there when the next one starts

I grew out of my spreadsheet and built this to track net worth, assets, liabilities, and budget, plan bigger purchases, and track spending.

The problem

The spreadsheet worked until it didn't. Net worth lived in one tab, the budget in another, and bigger purchases in notes I'd stop opening.

What matters most

  • Net worth, assets, and liabilities in one monthly picture

Website rebuild in Cursor. New structure, new pages for a home care company in Jyväskylä.

The problem

The old site didn't help families in Jyväskylä see what Kirsi offers or how to reach her.

What matters most

  • Kotihoito, lastenhoito, omaishoidon lomitus, each on its own page
  • Jyväskylä, Muurame, Laukaa spelled out for local search
  • Phone and email on the homepage, easy to copy

Kursi helps whole companies use AI, not just the keen 20%. Webflow site to explain the product and get demo bookings.

The problem

Kursi is a new app. They needed a marketing site that explains what it does and gets people to book a demo.

What matters most

  • Guided AI paths for writing, analysis, and planning
  • Reporting, safe use, and company-wide prompt sharing
  • Book Demo in the hero and at the bottom of the page

Where new drummers in Finland come to when they don't know where to start. Notes, playlists, blog, and ebooks collected over years of teaching.

The problem

Starting drums is a bad spot. Where do I begin, what do I need to know, who can help? The useful material was scattered and hard to find.

What matters most

  • Sheet music and playlists in one place
  • Blog posts for the questions people don't know when they're just getting started
  • E-books for the topics worth going deeper on

Shopify store refresh for the annual restaurant guide books. Helsinki, Tampere, and Turku, ready for launch season.

The problem

Three city books, one launch season, and promo codes that need to work on the day the new guides drop.

Shopify store for Finnish artist Maarit Kontiainen. Product and category structure she can run herself.

The problem

Maarit sells her art online. The shop needed to fit how she works, and she needed to run it without calling a developer every week.

Simple Shopify store for a firewood company. Fresh, easy to use, with a destination-based transport fee at checkout.

The problem

They needed a simple online store. Fresh layout, easy ordering, and a delivery fee that follows the customer's address.
